Like Third Sector New England’s programs and services, the following Web directory, CapacitE-Links, provides information to strengthen individual nonprofit organizations and networks, and build the power and effectiveness of the nonprofit sector. What distinguishes this resource directory from others on nonprofits issues is what also distinguishes TSNE. Like TSNE, the guide is built around the belief that provided with practical, “real world” information, nonprofit managers, board members, staff and community stakeholders are the best people to build the strong foundation needed to help their organization thrive.
Therefore, CapacitE-Links does not provide an exhaustive list of resources on the topics included. It provides links to resources that we believe are best able to help you access information and technical assistance on an array of issues and topics critical to your organization’s growth and development. The directory is broken out into topic areas – from what you need to know to start a nonprofit to communications planning to financial management.
Over the next several weeks, we will be adding sections on information technology, systems thinking, and diversity and inclusion. While the list is not exhaustive, we hope that these resources will provide nonprofits with a starting point to further improve upon their organization and better meet their mission.
