Cooperative Economics for Women (CEW) supports low-income women of color to learn organizing and leadership skills for advocacy, promotion of policy change and community development, including access/control of income.
The Network/La Red was formed to address battering in lesbian, bisexual women's and transgender communities. Through a) the formation of a community-based multi-cultural organization in which battered/formerly battered lesbians, bisexual women and transgender folks hold leadership roles; b) community organizing, education, and the provision of support services; and c) coalition-building with other movements for social change and social justice, they seek to create a culture in which domination, coercion, and control are no longer accepted and operative social norms.
Association of Haitian Women (AFAB) empowers Haitian women by helping them to develop their individual and collective capacity to improve social, economic and political status and thus effect positive changes in their lives and the lives of their families.
Project Think Different empowers disenfranchised populations to "think big" and increase their civic engagement through the use of music, film and online media.
