Programs and Services

Third Sector New England’s programs and services are designed to help all nonprofits. And we have a special focus on building the capacity of small to medium organizations working to create and sustain strong, just communities.

Our programs and services include supporting organizational transitions and executive transitions, executive search, management consulting, and grantmaking to foster diversity and capacity building. We also provide fiscal sponsorship regionally, providing projects and grassroots coalitions and with well-honed management and administrative systems, so that they can focus on achieving their missions. Through this program, we also promote and model effective practices for the fiscal sponsorship of grassroots groups and coalitions.

Our training program helps non-profit professionals improve their leadership and management skills. Training, coupled with regional Convenings, promotes cross learning in the third sector and helps to seed challenging conversations on topics that affect the sector’s future. 

We have developed the multi-tenant NonProfit Center for Boston’s progressive social change organizations. In addition to offering meeting and office space for area nonprofits, we have developed a lively community, which learns together through workshops and educational programs, collaborates on projects, shares program information, and our shared space tenants share services also.  

TSNE shares the sector’s best practices, with an emphasis on helping to create supportive non-profit networks.
