Welcome from Executive Director Jonathan Spack

Jonathan Spack, TSNE executive director Since its founding in 1959, Third Sector New England has focused on building the knowledge, power and effectiveness of nonprofits, so they can better help communities leverage resources, solve problems, identify opportunities – and thrive.

Today, we are using new tools and strategies in our work to support our clients and partners, and the many others committed to social justice throughout the region.

The TSNE website is one more way that we can provide you with information and resources to help you reach your goals and meet your mission. For example, you’ll find publications to help you increase staff and board diversity; information on executive transition and search; articles to help you learn more about marketing, fiscal sponsorship, and sound financial management; and information on non-profit management training opportunities.

We are constantly adding more information on trends affecting our field as well as practical “how-to” information for non-profit professionals. While we aim to make our site a valuable resource for nonprofits, we hope to make it a useful tool also for those outside of the third, or non-profit, sector who are committed to building a better world. We have the tools and a team of seasoned non-profit professionals to help you meet your needs.
