“GREEN” YOUR WORKPLACE: IDEAS FROM THE NONPROFIT CENTER

The NonProfit Center, developed by TSNE as a “green” building, has been awarded certification from the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Commercial Interiors Program. This voluntary standard is granted by the U.S. Green Building Council to recognize buildings that incorporate innovative environmental design and construction practices. Learn how you can go green or greener in your workplace.


BUILDING COMMUNITY

The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Massachusetts Affiliate opened its offices in the downtown Boston NonProfit Center in spring 2005. The Komen Foundation works to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease through research, screening and education. Learn how tenancy in the NonProfit Center is enhancing the organization’s work.

The Massachusetts Legal Services Diversity Coalition is seeking an energetic, self-starting director to organize various stakeholders in a statewide effort to increase diversity and culturally competency in legal services programs throughout Massachusetts. The Coalition works to create a representative and collaborative atmosphere within legal services that enables such programs to provide accessible and culturally competent services to clients of all backgrounds.
