Bringing the Training to You - Podcasts

We’ve been busy working to bring Nonprofit Workout lessons to your office, geared specifically to the needs of nonprofit professionals on the go. Several podcasts are in development, and there will be a DVD available in January.

In the meantime, listen to the conclusion of Simone Joyaux’s podcast on donor-centric fundraising.

And as a taste of what’s to come, listen to excerpts from the luncheon panel on leadership, with Elena LetonaChrystal Kornegay and Pat Brandes.

As we’ve been learning the ins and outs of podcasting, we have come across several sites that give great tips and guidance. This month we wanted to share with you some resources we’ve found valuable. Learn more.

TSNE'S Consulting Program: Grassroots Initiative

TSNE is excited to announce a unique opportunity for four nonprofit organizations in the Boston area to be a part of a capacity building initiative. TSNE’s Consulting Program is undertaking this work as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting small social change organizations.

These services will include an organizational assessment, 32.5 hours of direct technical assistance from a consultant, trainings and peer learning sessions. All work will take place January - June 2008. Learn more.

Thank You and Highlights from the Nonprofit Workout

Thanks to a wonderful group of participants, staff and volunteers, the sold-out 11th Nonprofit Workout was a success!

Many of you had a voice in shaping the 2007 conference theme, The Ways We Lead: Creating Adaptive, Inclusive Organizations, and it resonated well with participants. Thank you for your input!

The conference offered 18 break-out sessions, several of which were filled to capacity, including topics such as donor-centric fundraising, strategic communications for the resource-strapped organization, and constituency leadership development.

TSNE is grateful for the enthusiastic participation of attendees, staff and volunteers, and looks forward to continued engagement in our training series in 2008 and beyond.
