Bottom Line Training Series

Workshops to Help Your Nonprofit Survive the Economic Crisis

The non-profit sector has always resourceful – getting so much done for so many with budgets that are often just a fraction of some corporate CEOs’ expense accounts. But the stagnant economy of the past few years is increasing community demand for our services while funding becomes increasingly scarce.

We need new approaches to support healthy, inclusive communities in what many are calling the “New Normal.” And as non-profit organizations and supporters, we must bridge our work – and missions – to longer-term solutions.

New Solutions for New Challenges

Third Sector New England is continuing our multi-year commitment to support individual nonprofits and the sector during these historic shifts in our economy, technologies, networks and collaborations, and even in our relationships.

One of the ways we are helping nonprofits and non-profit professionals lead their communities through this changing landscape is with a series of educational opportunities to help you stay on top of new approaches and trends and give you practical, real-world steps you can take to survive and thrive in these difficult times. Our free workshops, seminars, brown bag lunches and webinars are free and offered exclusively to staff members, volunteers and board members of 501(c)3 non-profit organizations or projects that are fiscally sponsored by 501(c)3 organizations.

And this year, for Bottom Line 2010-2011: Navigating the New Normal, we will include more personal development opportunities like Art of the Schmooze, which promises to increase your ability to interact with everyone from funders and major donors to potential employers.
