Lenny Zakim Fund

The mission of The Lenny Zakim Fund is to identify, listen to, support and connect grassroots community organizations and programs operating “below the radar screen” who have the will and the potential to make a difference but lack resources. A particular emphasis of the Fund will target support for efforts at constructive coalition building across race, religious and ethnic lines. Applications are due by 5:00 p.m. August 7, 2009.

Social Innovation Forum

The Social Innovation Forum is now accepting first-round applications from nonprofit organizations in and around Greater Boston with budgets or programs of less than $2 million. The Social Innovation Forum accelerates the development of enduring solutions to social problems by directing an alternative flow of local resources to innovative, results-oriented organizations striving for efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability.
