Building Non-profit Capacity: 2010 Grantees SelectedBoth the Diversity & Inclusion Initiative and the Capacity Building Fund of Third Sector New England have selected grantee organizations for 2009 and 2010. Both programs are focused on helping nonprofits build their capacity to more effectively serve their communities. CBF brings groups together to address an issue with common purpose to increase community impact. The next Capacity Building Fund Planning Grant process begins with Letters of Intent to Plan that are due on Thursday, June 24, 2010, by 12:00 p.m. Grassroots Initiative Recipients AnnouncedThird Sector New England's Consulting Program has announced the organizations selected for the 2010 Grassroots Initiative. The project helps smaller, progressive organizations strengthen their programs and operations with an organizational assessment, trainings, peer learning sessions and direct technical assistance from a consultant. Nothing Beats That Old Face-to-FaceNothing beats face-to-face interaction when you are trying to forge a new connection and get things done collaboratively, according a "techie."
