What is the Nonprofit Workout?
The Nonprofit Workout is a biennial conference for the nonprofit sector, bringing you world-renowned trainers in an intensive workshop format. The Nonprofit Workout is New England’s preeminent skills-building conference for nonprofit professionals.
Who should attend?
The Nonprofit Workout is a conference for both those new to the nonprofit field and seasoned professionals, including senior managers, staff, board members, executive directors, consultants, volunteers and other leaders.
When is it?
This year’s Nonprofit Workout will take place on Friday, November 9, 2007, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. - check out the schedule.
Where is it, and how do I get there?
This year’s Nonprofit Workout is at a new location, the Omni Parker House, Boston. For those planning to arrive at the conference venue the night before, discounted hotel rate reservations must be made by October 16.
The Omni Parker House is located in the heart of downtown Boston, and we strongly recommend that attendees take public transportation to the Nonprofit Workout if at all possible.
Where do I park?
Overnight hotel parking: There is a $38 charge for overnight valet parking. An early check-in fee of $16 will be applied to your total bill for any arrivals before 2 p.m. A late check-out fee of $16 will be added to all cars checking out after noon. When you arrive, please stop in front of the School Street entrance to the Omni Parker House and speak to the doorman. He will help you take care of your car and belongings.
All rates are subject to change.
Conference parking: For one-day parking, the Omni Parker House refers attendees to the Pi Alley Parking Garage located across the street from the hotel. The daily rate is $33 to $36.
How much does it cost?
This year’s Nonprofit Workout rate is just $169. We are grateful for the generosity of our sponsors whose support allows us to keep the cost as low as possible.
How do I apply for a scholarship?
Unfortunately, the deadline for scholarship applications has passed and all slots are now filled. You can sign up for our training announcements list and be among the first to hear about scholarship opportunities at the next conference, as well as other training opportunities that may be of interest to you.
We’d like to thank the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Foundation, the Barr Foundation and the TSNE Capacity Building Fund for making this year’s scholarships possible.
