PAIR Project Shares Immigrants Rights and Resources

PAIR Project staff attorney Amanda Ekey gave a densely-packed presentation about the current legal landscape for immigrants on Tuesday, March 28 at the NonProfit Center. Referring to recent events such as the travel ban and ICE raids on communities as examples, Ekey told attendees how to respond in specifics situations, what to expect when confronted with court cases, and the rights and laws immigrants had to protect themselves.

PAIR provides free immigration services to asylum-seekers and detained immigrants in Massachusetts. They match clients with volunteer attorneys who are trained, mentored, and supported throughout the immigration case. PAIR’s goal is bring justice, hope, and safety to all their clients.
