Caitlin McGillicuddy has been appointed Executive Director of the Children Museum in Easton effective February 26, 2018. The Children’s Museum is an educational, cultural and social learning center for children and families, with a focus on children ages 1-8. Mass Mentoring Partnership
Lily Mendez has been announced as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Mass Mentoring Partnership effective August 13, 2018. Mass Mentoring Partnership is leading the movement to expand empowering youth – adult relationships across Massachusetts. Mass Mentoring Partnerships provides customized strategies that empower youth and families and communities, by connecting with schools, religious organizations, community non-profits and workplaces, serving youth 5 to 18 years old. Philip Arnold has been appointed Executive Director of Hill View Montessori Charter Public School, effective July 2, 2018. Hill View Montessori Charter Public School was founded by a volunteer group of educators, parents and city activist who believed in working to make education to available to all children in Haverhill regardless of socioeconomic status or educational background. New Neighborhoods has named Jamey William Healy as the new Executive Director. Healy will begin his new position on April 23, 2018. New Neighborhoods believes safe and decent housing is the foundation in which individuals can begin to build better live for themselves and their families. Harriet Beecher Stowe Center
The Harriet Beecher Stowe Center Board of Trustees has named Briann G. Greenfield, Ph.D. as the Stowe Center’s new Executive Director. Greenfield will begin her new position on June 18, following Katherine D. Kane who will retire May 11. A program center and tourist attraction, the Stowe Center attracts people from all 50 states and 20 countries to take inspiration from Harriet Beecher Stowe whose words changed the world with her 1852 anti-slavery novel Uncle Tom’s Cabin. In addition to those who visit, the Stowe Center annually engages online with more than 300,000 people from countries around the globe including Pakistan, Argentina, India and the United Kingdom. Women’s League Child Development Center
Karen Lott has been appointed Executive Director of Women’s League Child Development Center (WLCDC), effective March 5, 2018. WLCDC was founded in 1917 to meet the needs of migrant and immigrant families. Coastal Humane Society
Following a national search, the Board of Directors of the Coastal Human Society and Lincoln County Animal Shelter have named Trendy Stanchfield as their new Executive Director, effective January 2, 2018. The organization began as a volunteer-run shelter 65 years ago, and now stands as one of the largest animal shelters in Maine. In 2016, Lincoln County Animal Shelter of Edgecomb came under the management and ownership of Coastal Humane society, increasing the capacity of the facility and offering access to additional resources available through the larger shelter. Berkshire Natural Resources Council
Jenny Hansell has been announced as the next president of the Berkshire Natural Resources Council (BNRC), effective February 5, 2018. Hansell succeeds Tad Ames, long-time President of over 15 years. BNRC stewards nearly 22,000 acres of conservation land, including approximately 50 miles of hiking trails. Learn more.
