Ramani Sripada, Associate Director of Fiscal Sponsorship
Ramani is a human rights and social justice activist. She has a professional background in public health and has led and participated in a variety of partnerships, coalitions and advisory committees on local, regional and national levels. She is skilled in community organizing, strategic planning, organizational development, grant making, research and evaluation. Ramani has also served as Deputy Director of Mass. Asian & Pacific Islanders for Health for twelve years where she provided HIV/AIDS prevention education. During that time, Ramani managed a CDC-funded National and East Coast Regional API HIV/AIDS Prevention Education and Capacity Building Program.
Ramani has previously served in the position of Program Officer at MetroWest Health Foundation, overseeing Racial and Ethnic Health Disparities and Childhood Obesity Prevention initiatives. Most recently, she was the Project Director at Mass. Alliance on Teen Pregnancy Prevention. She has held the Co-Chair role in Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy's (AAPIP) Boston chapter and served as an Affiliate of Interaction Institute for Social Change.
Ramani earned a BA in Social Thought and Political Economy from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a MA in Applied Urban Anthropology from City College, New York, NY.
Michael Nagavkar, Associate Director of Finance
Michael brings a vast history of financial management experience from the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. Most recently, he worked with the Clinton Health Access Initiative, where he served as the Associate Finance Director of Africa Financial Operations.
Michael earned a BA in Accountancy and Auditing from the Ness Wadia College of Commerce, and a MA in Business Administration and Management from Manchester University.
